DALLAS, March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- McDonald's of Greater North Texas and the Dallas Police Department have announced it will once again join forces to host two Coffee with Cops events in 2018. In its sixth year, Coffee with Cops provides citizens the opportunity to meet local officers while enjoying free McDonald's McCafé Coffee. This year's initiative kicks off on Saturday, March 24, at seven McDonald's restaurants throughout Dallas.
During the events, officers of all levels – including Sergeants, Deputy Chiefs and Neighborhood Patrol Officers - will sit down with residents to answer questions, discuss public safety and build relationships with those they serve. The second Coffee with Cops event is scheduled for Saturday, September 15.
"Thanks to our partnership with McDonald's and our Coffee with Cops initiative, we've been able to strengthen relationships with community members throughout the city," said Joli Angel Robinson, Manager of Community Affairs at Dallas Police Department. "Coffee with Cops gives us the opportunity to get to know residents in all seven of our patrol divisions. As a police department, we're able to answer questions, hear comments, and address concerns that help us continue to serve all communities. We're looking forward to this year's events and our continued partnership with McDonald's of Greater North Texas."
Coffee with Cops will be held at the following McDonald's restaurants on Saturday, March 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. Locations for the September 15 event are to be determined:

"McDonald's is committed to connecting with those in our community, so we're honored to continue our partnership with the men and women in blue to do just that," said Ron Dribben, local McDonald's Owner/Operator and President of the Greater North Texas Co-op. "Since its inception in 2013, Coffee with Cops has grown to become a well-known event that both Owner/Operators and McDonald's crew members look forward to each year. We're proud to have a hand in helping create these valuable relationships throughout our great city."
