FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Calvin, Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA) is excited to announce the completion of $4.6 million design and construction improvements to Coconut Creek's Windmill Park.
The park upgrades have been years in the making. Awarded in August 2014, CGA's multidisciplinary team, as a sub to Synalovski Romanik Saye (SRS), LLC Architects provided Landscape Architecture (Tree Disposition, Planting Plans and Irrigation Design), Civil Engineering (Paving, Grading and Drainage Plans, Pavement Markings and Signage Plans, SWPP Plans, and Water and Sewer Plans), and Construction Services. The park's upgrades included lighting improvements, repositioned tennis courts, expanded dog park, ADA-approved play apparatus', stationed outdoor exercise paths, picnic pavilions, and restrooms. In addition, the CGA team was responsible for the design of 2 new parking lots for additional parking spaces, pavement marking and signage, water and sewer, sidewalk improvements, re-grading of the entire site, drainage system consisting of structures, pipes, and retention area.
A grand re-opening celebration sponsored by the City of Coconut Creek is scheduled for Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 10 am at 700 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL 33066.
