NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal appointed Kernan "Kerry" Hand, Jr. to the Board of Tax Appeals. The Board of Tax Appeals makes decisions on state and local tax liability cases involving both individuals and businesses.
Kerry Hand is an attorney in the New Orleans office of Coats Rose, where he concentrates in the areas of real estate and taxation. He is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist, as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. Kerry has extensive experience in tax litigation and corporate finance.
Kerry's practice encompasses all aspects of domestic and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, restructurings and private equity transactions, with a core focus in the real estate, construction, and oil and gas sectors.
