Coastline College Foundation Hosts "Connecting Communities" Social Responsibility Summit on April 26, 2019
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif., April 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Coastline Foundation is pleased to announce it will be hosting "Connecting Communities" Social Responsibility Luncheon Summit on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA to help support Coastline's scholarship programs and academic or student programs. This engaging and impactful program will begin at 10:30 am and conclude at 2:30 pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the valuable partnerships among higher education institutions, corporations, grant-makers, and various agencies, and learn about the different ways they can impact their communities by connecting resources to bring awareness and support for those in need.
The keynote speaker at lunch will be Richard Afable, MD, MPH, who is the President and board chair of MindOC, a non-profit community benefit corporation for improving mental and behavioral health in the community of Orange County. He is the recently retired President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Joseph Hoag Health. The summit will feature informational panels with prominent and influential decision-makers and representatives from local corporations with corporate social responsibilities initiatives (CSR), higher education professionals, and community organizations, in addition to a Resource Fair with exhibitors who provide invaluable services to the community.
