Co-Founder of Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. Hints at What's Next in New Growth Strategy

SAN RAMON, Calif., April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- While the current economy has moved in fits and starts since the 2008 recession, San Ramon-based Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. has continued a pattern of steady growth. As one of the largest commercial landscape companies in Northern California, the business has largely maintained its focus in the north, east and south Bay Area. However, co-founder Martin Cleary suggests that may be about to change.

"We are pleased to announce that we've just added a new maintenance branch office to serve our customers in the tri-valley area and beyond," Mr. Cleary said. "This increased capacity demonstrates our commitment to the type of balanced, sustainable growth that we've maintained for over twenty-five years."

The new office, named Branch 650, will serve Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin, Hayward and Fremont. Heading the office will be Maintenance Account Manager Ross Helton, a new addition to the Cleary Bros. employee family. Helton comes with a wealth of industry experience as well as a bachelor's degree in Environmental Horticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Attracting top-level candidates like Helton is not always easy, Mr. Cleary reveals. "This is a highly competitive industry with a relatively small pool of talent," he said. "The fact that Ross chose to come and work for us speaks volumes for our company's reputation as well as our capabilities."

Cleary Bros. started out in 1987 with just a handful of employees and now boasts well over 200. Nevertheless, Mr. Cleary suggests that there is more growth on the horizon. "We have a very stable base as a platform from which we have enjoyed steady growth over many years," he states. "Now that our company has entered maturity, we see even more potential ahead. The possibilities for continued expansion are virtually unlimited."

Cleary Bros. Landscape, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. Mike and Martin Cleary both have horticulture and landscape design degrees from the University of California, Davis. They have served the Bay Area with residential and commercial landscape construction and maintenance since 1987. Over this time, Cleary Bros. has developed numerous skilled work teams to accommodate a wide variety of landscaping needs.
