CNSI Celebrates Two Decades of Innovation @ Work
20th Anniversary Marked by Partnering with Local Charities Across The World
GAITHERSBURG, Md., April 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CNSI, one of the world's leading business solutions providers with vast experience in developing and delivering innovative technology solutions, this week marks its 20th anniversary and celebrates a long history of helping public and private sector organizations cut costs and build efficiencies.
To celebrate this milestone and the company's overall growth, CNSI is partnering with various charitable organizations across each of its site locations to give back to the local communities where it operates.
"We are excited to celebrate this milestone with all of our employees, their families and partners across the country and in doing so we would like to also take this opportunity to give back and support the communities in which we all live and work," said CNSI co-founders Adnan Ahmed, B. Chatterjee, Jaytee Kanwal and Reet Singh. "This is truly a momentous occasion for CNSI. As the company continues its growth, evolving as rapidly as the information technology industry, we can look back on a number of industry innovations with great pride. We look forward to an exciting future of continuing to introduce truly innovative solutions in the sectors in which we operate."
CNSI was formed by four visionaries in 1994 as a business technology transformation company, providing innovative solutions to clients across federal and state governments. CNSI's twenty year history spans supporting the department of defense and supporting mission critical projects for multiple civilian agencies. The company has since grown to specialize in public sector health information technology, advising, developing and managing technology for federal and state health agencies.
Among the company's recent project highlights, CNSI developed and supports the U.S. Census Bureau's Center for Applied Technology; CNSI provides critical infrastructure support to the U.S. Department of State on behalf of diplomatic security; and the company has developed and is implementing the most technically advanced, scalable Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) solutions available in the industry to states including Washington and Michigan. As part of CNSI's leadership in developing MMIS solutions, the company has established the Illinois Michigan Program Alliance for Core Technology (IMPACT) project, for which a single cloud computing platform is utilized by both states, dramatically cutting costs and providing greater efficiencies for Michigan, Illinois and the federal government.
CNSI has nearly 1,000 employees, many of whom are in the Gaithersburg, Maryland headquarters. Other site locations are in Utah, Washington, New Mexico, Michigan, Virginia and the company operates a Center for Technology & Innovation in Chennai, India.
