CNN en Espanol, Latino Partnership Sponsor GOP Presidential Primary Special
Candidates to Drill Down on Issues Crucial to Latino Voters
WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CNN en Espanol, the global news voice for, and of, Spanish speakers across the Americas, and The Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, a leading voice of Latino conservatives, will co-sponsor a two-part GOP Presidential Primary Special which will air on CNN en Espanol.
This special edition of Directo USA Voto Latino 2012 will be hosted by CNN en Espanol's Washington, D.C. Anchor, Juan Carlos Lopez, and will consist of in-depth interviews that Lopez will conduct with the top contenders for the Republican nomination for president.
After each interview, Lopez will lead discussion and analysis with a team of noted political contributors including: Maria Cardona, Democratic Analyst for CNN en Espanol; Juan Hernandez, Hispanic Outreach Director of the McCain 2008 Campaign; and Alfonso Aguilar, Executive Director of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles.
The first one-hour program will air Wednesday, October 19 at 9:00 p.m. featuring interviews with Cain, Gingrich and Paul. The second program will air later this month.
