CNIT Ad Delivery Platform Wins Industry's Top Digital Signage Award
SHENZHEN, China, Jan. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- China Information Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNIT), a leading provider of internet-based platforms and digital advertising services in China, today said its Yunfa Net cloud-based ad content delivery system has won the 2016 Golden Peacock Excellent Award, the top award of China's digital signage industry. Other winners of the award include renowned brands such as Philips, Konka and 56iq.
The award was announced at the 6th Annual Digital Signage Industry Summit Forum and Golden Peacock Award Ceremony in Shenzhen on January 12.
Yunfa Net allows customers to create, edit and deliver ad content from their PC or mobile app to display terminals installed in office elevators, office buildings, shopping malls, stores, and other mass-traffic venues across China. This content can be differentiated for specific display terminals in diverse locations, and can be programmed to update automatically. The system generally offers lower cost and more targeted delivery options than other forms of out-of-home advertising.
"CNIT is honored to receive this leading award," said the company's chief operating officer, Mr. Zhixiong Huang. "We are also gratified to see that Yunfa Net is helping so many companies and organizations, including those with limited budgets, to create highly effective advertising campaigns for significantly reduced cost.
"China is in the midst of an advertising revolution," added Mr. Huang, "giving many thousands of smaller groups the ability to use remote, cloud-based platforms to create inexpensive and highly targeted ads. We are proud to be in the forefront on this movement."
Mr. Huang said he expected to announce further developments on Yunfa Net "in the near future."
