CHICAGO and SAN FRANCISCO, June 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CNA today announced the appointment of Gregg Fergot as Vice President, Underwriting, leading the Company's Technology Segment. In this role, Fergot will be responsible for leading the Technology Segment in implementing its strategic and operational objectives. He will be based in San Francisco and report to Dieter Korte, Senior Vice President, Customer Segments.
"Gregg's extensive knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry, combined with his proven track record of performance and strong leadership experience, make him well suited to lead Technology at CNA," Korte said.
Fergot joins CNA with more than 25 years of business experience in the technology underwriting field. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Head of Technology, Middle Market Commercial, for Zurich. Prior to that role, he served as Western Zone Vice President, Global Technology for Travelers; Regional Manager, Technology Underwriting for Chubb; and various technology underwriting roles.
Fergot holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire.
