CN recognizes 22 customers for sustainability leadership under CN EcoConnexions Partnership Program
MONTREAL, March 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - CN (TSX: CNR) (NYSE: CNI) today recognized 22 of its customers for their sustainability practices that are aligned with the objectives of the CN EcoConnexions program.
Under the CN EcoConnexions Partnership Program, participating companies work to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency – one of CN's key sustainability objectives.
The 22 partners under CN's recognition program are: Cenovus Energy Inc., China Cosco Shipping Corporation Ltd., CMA CGM (America) LLC, DuPont, Fairmount Santrol, Ford Motor Company, Hapag-Lloyd, Kruger Products LP, Labatt Brewing Company Ltd., Maersk Line A/S, MOL, Mondelēz International, NYK Line, OOCL Canada Inc., Resolute Forest Products, Teck, Tenaris, UPS, Verso Corporation, Walmart Canada, Weyerhaeuser, and Yang Ming.
CN will plant 100,000 trees in the spring in recognition of its customers' commitment to sustainable business practices.
