CME Group Announces Treasury Options Trading Volume Record

CHICAGO, Feb. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- CME Group, the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace, today announced a record in daily trading volume for its Treasury options complex on Friday, February 1, 2013. These contracts are listed by and subject to the rules of CBOT.

Total daily volume for Treasury options reached 1,174,227 on February 1, breaking the previous record of 1,172,710 set on June 8, 2007. This included a record 639,306 Treasury options executed on CME Globex.
