CMC Announces Management Promotions
IRVING, Texas, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC) announced today that the Board of Directors has promoted four officers. The four, all of whom had previously been elected a Vice President of CMC, will now serve as Senior Vice President in addition to their existing titles reflecting specific areas of responsibility. The new designations are:

Porter, a 19 year CMC employee, has responsibility for the CMC Americas Division. Sharma has responsibility over Business Development and Business Processes and has been with CMC for 2 years. Alleman has been with CMC for 5 years and oversees Human Resources and Organizational Development. Bruder has been an employee of CMC for 3 years and is responsible for Law, Government Affairs and Global Trade Compliance as well as serving as Secretary and General Counsel of CMC.
