DESTIN, FL, March 1 /PRNewswire/ - With a yo, ho, ho and bottle of SPF 45, Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort announced the debut of Club KZ, it's new children's program just in time for the popular spring and summer season. The leading family resort on Florida's Emerald Coast now has everything a three to 12-year-old would ever want - Sandestin's new program entertains children with fully-supervised and totally engaging activities.

One of many family friendly activities at Sandestin, Club KZ gives kids the chance to escape from parents — or vice versa!  Children head off to a day of age-appropriate fun filled activities with friends while Mom and/or Dad take some time to hit the links, the tennis courts, the spa or just relax on the beautiful sugar white sand beaches.  

From the high-thrill adventure of the ropes course and zipline to a bike ride around the resort, "Club KZ provides a memorable new world of discovery, entertainment and enjoyment," said Steven Schaefer, Sandestin's Vice President of Resort Operations.

Club KZ's new Club Room features a 12-foot-high sand sculpture created by Jill Harris, the owner of Sandsational Sand Sculpting, home to the #1 sand sculptor in the world.  The new Club Room also includes a 55-gallon salt water aquarium and a hip, new entertainment area that inspires high-tech (or rainy day) diversions. There are new flat screens, surround sound, computers, Wii, and the most exciting new feature, Xbox Kinect with all the latest games.

-- It's a Rip-Roarin', Bouncin' Good Time!
The Village of Baytowne Wharf offers loads of fun and laughs on the Carousel, Village Playground, EuroBungy and Ropes Course. A trip to Toys and Treasures to create a brand new special friend makes the day complete. Lunch from the Marina Grill will be served high above the rest of the world in Captain Jolee's Treehouse!

-- Arrggh! It's a Pirate Adventure!
Grab a pirate hat and treasure map mateys! This day's adventure explores Jolee Island in search of hidden treasure. After discovering the treasure, kids will head over to the Baytowne Marina beach for some more fun and games, then feast at the Marina Grill, overlooking Horseshoe Bayou. Sandestin's newest residents, Gilligan and MaryAnn, friendly one-year-old McCaws, make regular visits to Club KZ.

-- Wet N' Wild
Kids will splish and splash for loads of excitement and tubular fun! Noodle races, Aqua Golf, Diving for Treasure and plenty of other splash-tacular pool games. Lunch from the Linkside Pub will be served poolside.
