RESTON, Va., April 15, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Clinical Care Options (CCO), a leader in the development of innovative online, print, and live medical education for healthcare professionals, is pleased to announce its continued partnership with the International AIDS Society (IAS).
The 6th IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention (IAS 2011) is organized by the IAS in partnership with Istituto Superiore di Sanita (Italian National Institute of Health). CCO's online point-of-care resource, CCO HIV inPractice, will also be updated following the meeting to reflect the new data.
"CCO's coverage of the International AIDS Conference and the IAS Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention has always been impressive," said Bertrand Audoin, Executive Director of the IAS. "Their scientific analysis of the clinical data presented in Rome will be an invaluable service to meeting delegates as well as those unable to attend. The coverage provided by CCO and our other partners strengthens the global response to HIV because it disseminates new knowledge and information about the latest scientific developments."
"We are committed to delivering critical new information and educational resources to HIV clinicians worldwide and our ongoing relationship with the IAS is a very important component in achieving that objective," said Jeffrey L. Drezner, MD, PhD, CCO's Chief Executive Officer and Founder. "Our goal is always to provide frontline clinicians with clinically applicable analyses by our faculty experts, resulting in improved patient care."
