ClearPath Action Fund Endorses Katko

WASHINGTON, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- ClearPath Action Fund is endorsing Rep. John Katko, adding the New Yorker as the 13th member of the organization's list of 2016 Republican clean energy leaders.

He has backed increased funding for innovative energy research, including the Department of Energy's ARPA-E advanced energy program.

In recognizing that the U.S. cannot act alone to reduce carbon emissions and be subjected to isolated restrictions, Katko supports policies to make energy more affordable and clean. He has also joined fellow House Republicans in signing a resolution calling on Congress to identify and support "economically viable, and broadly supported private and public solutions" to climate change.

The innovative campaign will leverage a sophisticated microtargeting strategy to identify persuadable clean energy voters.
