The USPTO issued patent number 9,715,873 to ClearOne. This patent, entitled "Method for Adding Realism to Synthetic Speech," among other things, can be used to create "speech fonts" that allow a user to have their messages read using the voice of anyone who has authorized the use of their voice patterns for synthetic speech.
