On August 29, 2017, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ("USPTO") issued United States Patent number 9,749,072 entitled, "Endpoint Parameterization Management of Generic Devices", enables a system to use, manage, and control smart devices for the "Internet of Things" by describing key configuration parameters for those devices in a common format like a comma separated values (CSV) text file format or some other format that is equally simple.
This new patent is part of ClearOne's growing patent portfolio that currently includes over 100 patents and pending patent applications covering multiple new technologies in the fields of audio and video processing, audio and video streaming, and networked communication technologies.
