FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ClearedJobs.Net, a veteran-owned job site serving security cleared job seekers, encourages everyone to honor our country's service members, veterans and their families during the month of May, National Military Appreciation Month.

To that end, ClearedJobs.Net continues its efforts to publicly recognize military spouses on Military Spouse Appreciation Day (MSAD). MSAD was first proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 and is celebrated the Friday before Mother's Day.

The objective is to express appreciation for military spouses, who often must endure months apart from their loved ones, among other hardships.
