Clear Guide Medical Announces the Closing of Series A Financing of $3M Led by Wildermuth Advisory
BALTIMORE, April 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Clear Guide Medical, a commercial stage image-guidance medical device company today announced it has closed a Series A round of financing of $1.5 million, with the potential of additional follow-on investments totaling another $1.5M. The round was led by Wildermuth Advisory, LLC, a registered investment adviser based in Alpharetta, Georgia and acting on behalf of its clients. The funding will accelerate sales of Clear Guide Medical's innovative CT-Ultrasound fusion and instrument-guidance system, the Clear Guide SCENERGY, to hospitals and radiology partnerships in the United States and Europe. This pioneering device helps interventional radiologists and other surgeons perform minimally-invasive biopsies and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures through an intelligently integrated display of fused ultrasound and CT images. The system is currently in use at several hospitals and is sold as an accessory to most ultrasound machines. It has received FDA-clearance as well as the CE Mark.
