Clean Power Concepts Inc. Commences Regina Plant Expansion
REGINA, Canada, June 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Clean Power Concepts Inc. (NASD OTC BB: CPOW) today announced that it has commenced the first stage of the Regina plant expansion.
We are pleased to announce that we have taken delivery of equipment that is expected to increase production capacity in the first step of our scalable plant expansion.
This is the first small step in enhancing our productive capacity. We believe the demand and commodity prices will continue to be strong for our products, and the scalable nature of our proprietary assembly lends itself well to incremental increases in capacity. Even though this is a relatively small enhancement, we believe this new capacity could in the future represent a revenue stream of nearly $2 million dollars at today's commodity prices. This equipment should enable us to complete construction of our aqua feed pilot plant, which will provide us samples for feed trials, and marketing purposes. "We believe the aqua feed market and the demand is growing significantly in the $100 billion global protein and oilseed market," said Michael Shenher, CEO.
Given the estimated re-commission costs required in Culbertson, Montana plant we felt it more cost effective to focus on making scalable enhancements to Regina capacity.
Clean Power Concepts produces Filtered Canola Oil, Canola Feed Meal, Lubricants, Chemicals and Additives that are marketed under the CLEAN POWER CONCEPTS®, MOPO® brand names. For more information is available at CPOW's website at www.cleanpowerconcepts.com.
