NEW YORK, March 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Coway, known for creating health-minded technologies, announced that the Coway Airmega indoor air purifiers are now integrated with Amazon Dash Replenishment. Dash Replenishment enables smart, connected devices to automatically reorder parts and supplies when needed. Now, customers can not only connect the Wi-Fi-enabled Coway Airmega units with Amazon's Alexa voice control, they can also enable Dash Replenishment to ensure they always have replacement dual HEPA air purifying filters at home – without having to remember to do it themselves.
The Coway Airmega product line joins Amazon's growing list of Dash Replenishment-integrated products as the first air purifier to integrate with the service to reorder air filters. In order to enable this technology, Coway teamed up with Amazon to update the Coway Airmega app, which currently works with Coway's Airmega 300S and 400S models. The app tracks the status of the air filter on a daily basis via patented sensor technology, and with Dash Replenishment, the purifier will automatically reorder filters when they need replacing so customers never have to worry about going without a fresh filter.
"We're excited to expand our integration with Amazon by not only being Alexa-friendly, but also integrated with Dash Replenishment," said Kevin Shim, Director of North American Sales for Coway Airmega's parent company, Coway. "Replacing air filters on time is critical to ensuring that customers are breathing in clean, pure air. We look forward to offering more technology-friendly updates to help our customers more deeply sync Coway Airmega to their smart home."
Coway Airmega units are available for purchase on Airmega.com, starting at $649 for Wi-Fi units that integrate with Dash Replenishment and Alexa. To learn more about Coway Airmega's integration with Dash Replenishment, please visit Airmega.com.
