CLC Manages Lodging so Disaster Responders Can Get to Work

WICHITA, Kan., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Reacting to floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and the Gulf Coast oil spill, Corporate Lodging Consultants (CLC) has contracted hotel rooms for more than 2,000 emergency responders supporting disaster areas across the U.S. so far this month.

The lodging services provided by CLC's Rapid Response emergency program are housing agency workers and crews sent for flooding relief in Tennessee and Kentucky; tornado assistance in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma; earthquake response in California; and environmental clean-up in Alabama.

The faster we can get workers in rooms, the faster they can get to work to aid disaster survivors."

For more than a dozen years and through more than 1,675 disasters, CLC has supported the nation's disaster response community with comprehensive lodging, reservation and reimbursement programs.
