Amassing over 35 years of experience in the field and 24 years of experience in his current role as OB/GYN at Mercy Health, Dr. Linares specializes in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Specialized in adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, Dr. Linares specializes in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. A renowned physician, Dr. Linares invests time into his patients, explaining their conditions, possible treatment methods, and answering questions in an effort to ease the concerns of his clients.
Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Linares graduated with his Medical Degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Central University of Este in San Pedro de Macoris in the Dominican Republic in 1982. Later, he completed an internship at Hospital Bella Vista and residency at the Hospital Episcopal San Lucas in Ponce Puerto Rico.
In an effort to enhance his professional development, Dr. Linares is affiliated with several organizations which include the International Association of Health Professionals, Leading Physicians of the World, Professional Member of the American Medical Association, the Ohio State Medical Association, and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
In his second year of residency, Dr. Linares became an officer in the United States Air Force serving from 1991 to 1993. As a major, he finished his commitment as an OB/GYN physician and was awarded a Service Medal from the United States Air Force. Later he moved to Oregon Ohio where he currently resides.
In his free time, Dr. Linares enjoys listening to music, watching movies and travelling.
