By replacing multiple legacy systems with Amdocs customer experience systems solutions, Claro Chile will enable true service convergence across all of its quad-play lines of business - mobile, landline, Internet and cable TV – while reducing total cost of systems ownership. Amdocs will deploy products for convergent charging, bill formatting, ordering, customer management, provisioning, activation, and its enterprise product catalog. Amdocs will also act as the project's prime systems integrator.
"To provide the best experience for our customers, we are consolidating our legacy systems using Amdocs' solutions and business processes to give us a unified view of the customer across all our lines of business, enabling us to provide tailored services and offerings as we prepare for our 4G LTE launch," said Gerardo Munoz, chief executive officer at Claro Chile. "We selected Amdocs as our strategic partner for this business transformation, because of their proven track record in delivering, large complex projects that create a competitive advantage, such as the ability to rapidly introduce new services and bundles for our customers."
"Like other Latin American service providers who have grown by consolidation and acquisition, Claro Chile realized that it needed to transform its business processes with a state-of-the-art foundation that will enable rapid innovation across its quad-play businesses," said Patrick McGrory, divisional president for the Caribbean and Latin America region at Amdocs. "Because the Amdocs platform will support customers across all lines of business, Claro will realize significant operational efficiencies. The integrated platform will also enable Claro to fine-tune solutions for specific market niches including residential, small- to midsize-businesses and enterprise segments."
