Clarke Leaverton, Spencer Strahan Join First Republic

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- First Republic Bank, a leading private bank and wealth management company, today announced that Clarke Leaverton and Spencer Strahan, two highly experienced financial advisors, have joined First Republic in Portland.

Leaverton and Strahan, who both have more than 30 years of investment experience, have both been named Managing Directors and Investment Consultants. They work for First Republic Private Wealth Management and are located at First Republic's Portland office at 947 SW Broadway.

He was a Board member of Waverly Country Club and is currently a member of the Albertina Kerr Committee.

Prior to First Republic, Strahan also spent his career as an investment advisor at Merrill Lynch and was Senior Vice President. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from University of Puget Sound.  He is active in Portland community organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Portland Golf Club.
