Clarity Service Group Rebrands as Epic Developmental Services
TREVOSE, Pa., Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Clarity Service Group—a provider of applied behavior analysis, special education, behavioral consulting and therapeutic staffing services—announced today its name change to Epic Developmental Services (EDS) in an effort to better align with its parent company, Dallas-based Epic Health Services, which acquired Clarity in March.
"The name change better represents the company's role as a part of the Epic family and our continuum of care," said Epic President and CEO Chris Roussos.
Based in Trevose, Pennsylvania, EDS works with approximately 320 children across an array of developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. These services take place in schools and homes throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and Virginia.
"Epic has opened up the line to clinic-based research," said Kathleen Bailey Stengel, vice president of EDS and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. "We now have the resources to increase our level of services and conduct research in the areas of developmental services."
With the backing of its parent company Epic Health Services, EDS—a recent recipient of the Distinguished Award from the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence, which honors exceptional special needs providers—is poised for even greater growth opportunities.
"We're looking to launch the EDS program model in Texas in Q1, 2016," said Diane McCullom, Epic Health Services senior vice president of clinical operations. "We consider it a privilege to be able to take this level of service to those who need it in Texas and eventually beyond."
