The IPX6 rated CMS2 is a digital media powerhouse designed specifically for marine and other recreational vehicle applications. The two-piece system includes a compact black box for installation flexibility and a weather protected controller. The easy-to-see 3-line full DOT matrix backlit LCD display provides users information at a glance and it is designed to be mounted in a variety of places and positions thanks to its ability to sustain moisture and water spray from multiple directions.

Clarion's new CMS2 utilizes a 32-bit micro controller paired together with a 4.1 channel audio processor to deliver high-end performance and top sound quality. It is also equipped with 6 channels of RCA outputs at 2 volts each and features a powerful built-in amplifier that continuously monitors the system to maintain low distortion levels and optimizes sound quality. The unit is also equipped with the most advanced wireless connectivity available today including Bluetooth 4.0, featuring CSR's aptX audio codec, which provides lossless, CD quality audio when streaming over Bluetooth.
