Clade, A Private, Digital Club For The World's Most Influential Investors, Has Officially Launched
NEW YORK, Jan. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Clade, a private, digital community for the world's wealthiest investors and philanthropists, has officially launched its prestigious, invite-only deal and networking platform.
Following its initial incubation inside of Credit Suisse, Clade has since evolved into an independent, fintech business backed by a group of wealthy investors who confidently believe in the vision of Clade's Co-founders and Credit Suisse alumni, Jonathan Lipton and Jan Oliver Koelble.
"We're very excited to offer our members a platform to connect, and invest together with other leading business builders and philanthropists," says Jonathan Lipton, Clade's CEO and Co-founder. "Our members have the means and the ambition to create lasting legacies, and we simply want to provide them with a new tool to amplify their efforts."
New Clade members will join a select group of existing founding charter members, and will immediately obtain private access to the overall network. Membership is determined by Clade's highly selective Admissions Committee and based on the applicant's individual merit, as well as referral from other active members. Membership, which is capped in size, is being drawn globally. Specific admissions requirements and members' names are not made available to the public.
Clade's private club app provides its elite members with a social network to enhance their global reach by allowing individuals to connect around common interests, as well as share their proprietary investment opportunities and non-profit ventures amongst the community. Core to the foundation of Clade, its members can raise capital from, and invest with, each other privately and discreetly, empowering members to build big businesses, create important social impact projects, and more. The platform facilitates direct peer-to-peer collaborations, alleviating the inherent frustrations and hardships that are often associated with traditional banks and middlemen, who are often conflicted.
"Clade has been a great strategic partner for Venezia FC as we bring this storied soccer franchise back to prominence," says Duncan Niederauer, a Clade founding charter member and the former CEO of the New York Stock Exchange. "As a Venezia stakeholder, I'm actively looking for ways to expand our iconic brand globally, and because of Clade's ability to bring their members to the table, we've been able to access many great, value-added investors and partners as we meld the cultural phenomenon of Venice with the best of European soccer. Working with Clade has been a huge step forward for us."
