Unruh Institute of Politics, and the historic Santa Monica Pier announce PRO/CON @ The Pier and PRO/CON @ USC, a nonpartisan debate series sponsored by the Arthur N. Rupe Foundation. The eight events are designed to stimulate critical thinking and #civildiscourse on current issues.
Come to the Santa Monica Pier on Mondays and USC on Tuesdays, starting on Sep. 11, for the four-week "Arthur N. Rupe Debate Series in LA" to watch VIPs from politics, media, business, and education prove that people can disagree without being disagreeable.
The events are free and open to the public. Events will be livestreamed on the ProCon.org Facebook page and video recorded for publishing on YouTube and the ProCon.org website.
