Civic Partners with Progrexion to Supercharge its Identity Theft Protection Services
Progrexion powered by Civic identity theft protection product will allow over 3.5 million potential new users access to Civic's Identity Ecosystem
LAS VEGAS, Oct. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Civic, the revolutionary blockchain identity verification technology, today at Money 20/20 announced the official roll out of its strategic partnership with Progrexion. Progrexion is the leading provider of credit report repair services in the United States and will allow Civic to expand its suite of product offerings in the identity theft protection market.
"We couldn't think of a better company to take our identity theft protection platform to new heights, said Jonathan Smith, CTO and co-founder of Civic. "Our strategic partnership with Progrexion will add millions of users to our ecosystem while giving all our users access to Progrexion's excellent suite of products through the tokens they will receive as participants in the Civic Marketplace."
The new Progrexion powered by Civic product offering will allow a potential 3.5 million users across all of Progrexion's brands (Credit.com, Lexington Law, CreditRepair.com and Efolks) the opportunity to participate in the Civic marketplace through the implementation of Civic's Passwordless Sign-On technology.
Vinny Lingham, CEO and co-founder of Civic, added that "This partnership completes Civic's technical goal of not storing any consumer PII (Personally Identifiable Information) on our servers, even for those consumers who need constant credit monitoring. We trust that Progrexion will serve the needs of our customers and provide them with the highest level of trust and safety."
The new agreement will provide Progrexion exclusive rights to Civic's Identity Theft Protection Services (IDTP). All existing Civic IDTP users will be grandfathered into new plans with new features while retaining existing price points. After the integration completes, new users signing up for the Progrexion powered by Civic product offering will be able to access the technology and product suite through either Civic.com or Credit.com.
"We are thrilled to partner with an industry leader whose mission aligns so well with our own," said Michael DeVico, COO of Progrexion. "Civic's commitment to protecting consumers and Progrexion's dedication to building fair, substantiated, and accurate consumer credit profiles integrate perfectly with each other."
