Citywide "Super" College Fair Featuring Recruiters From Over 40 Colleges And Universities

DETROIT, Oct. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- It's the biggest college fair in Detroit, and offers a tremendous opportunity for parents, college-bound seniors, and other students to gain valuable information on getting into college.  Greater Grace Temple and the National Scholarship Service present "It's More Than A College Fair" with more than 30 college recruiters providing answers on admissions, scholarships, financial aid, testing, and other matters.  The major difference in this College Fair Is attributed to the feature on careers in Skilled Trades, and a bevy of College Readiness Workshops such as "The Plan & ACT" by Princeton Review and "The PSAT and SAT" as taught by the College Board. A few Workshops will even address funding the college experience, grants, and even scholarships such as "The Detroit Promise." Furthermore, one Workshop will highlight the life of a college student and living on campus.

It happens at Greater Grace Temple, 23500 W. Seven Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan on November 2-3, 2017, Thurs./Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for only High School students then on Thurs. Only - 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (open to everyone).

Representatives from some of the nation's top colleges and universities as well as a number of community colleges will be present.  Admission is FREE.
