LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- CityView, an institutional investment firm focused on urban real estate, in-city housing, and metropolitan infrastructure, has announced the promotion of Damian Gancman to Senior Vice-President of Acquisitions and Strategic Ventures. In his new role, Mr. Gancman will focus on new strategic ventures for CityView, specifically managing the underwriting of new portfolio and project acquisitions, managing the due diligence process and implementing asset management strategies. In his new capacity, he will join the Investment Committee for each of CityView's three existing funds. Mr. Gancman also works directly with CityView's executive management team on the implementation of company initiatives for raising new funds, expanding the firm's investor base, and identifying new strategic opportunities.
