CityIS, a Viju Group Company, Announces New Senior Management Appointment
NEW YORK, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- City Information Services Incorporated (CityIS, Inc.), the global video communications company, today announced that David Luff has been named Vice President, Northeast, CityIS, Inc. with immediate effect. In this role Luff will be responsible for providing leadership and sales development across the Northeast region. Based in Greater Boston, Massachusetts, Luff will report to James de Poortere, CEO, CityIS, Inc. In addition, Luff will have a global responsibility within the Viju Group for business and solution development in the Banking & Finance sector.

Luff joins CityIS after 7 years as TANDBERG's Global Practice Leader for Banking & Finance and more recently, following the acquisition by Cisco, as a key member of the global TelePresence team. His global responsibility included working with Fortune 500 organizations to build industry focused applications for video communications and collaboration.

Luff has worked with many financial institutions developing a business-to-business video exchange network, to create video communications solutions that seamlessly link critical stakeholders, enabling real time responsiveness and improving operational efficiencies. He developed TANDBERG's Real Time Advisor™ solution in 2005 which allows retail oriented financial institutions to use video conferencing to provide an enhanced customer experience across all delivery channels and to deliver expertise at point-of-need for revenue generation and cross-sell. In addition, he worked with several top global banks developing usage assessment and return on investment model for video conferencing and telepresence deployments. In his role at CityIS, Luff will also work with key industry analysts and thought leaders to continue to forward Viju's vision for integrated industry vertical offerings.
Prior to joining TANDBERG, Luff served as Key Partner Manager for JP Morgan Chase where he developed co-branded credit card loyalty programs for Dell, British Airways, Southwest Airlines and Six Continents Priority Club. Previously he was Vice President Strategic Alliances for CMGI and Director of Partner Development at EMC.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Marketing from the California State University, Chico and an MBA in International Finance from Babson College's F.W. Olin School of Management in Wellesley, MA.
