City of Wilton Manors Launches Free Wilton Drive Shuttle Pilot Program
WILTON MANORS, Fla., March 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Getting around to your favorite restaurants, bars and shops in the Island City is about to get easier! From Thursday, March 30 to Friday, June 30, 2017, the City of Wilton Manors will be piloting the free Wilton Drive Shuttle.
"This park and shuttle system will allow patrons to park their car once and then use the Wilton Drive Shuttle to travel from destination to destination without having to move their car," said Mayor Gary Resnick.
The Wilton Drive Shuttle will run Thursday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and make eight stops along the Wilton Drive corridor. To hop on the shuttle, simply park your car in one of four parking lots, stand at one of the eight stops and the shuttle will arrive approximately every 20-25 minutes.
"This 90-day pilot program is all about gauging community interest," said Mayor Gary Resnick. "We encourage everyone to try the Wilton Drive Shuttle at least once, complete an onboard survey or visit the Facebook page to leave a review."
