Blackwell joined CCB in 2008 as Senior Loan Operations Specialist where her responsibilities included overseeing home mortgages, construction loans, home equity loans and lines of credit. In her new role as South Hill Branch Manager, Blackwell will oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch and its staff. She is a 1996 graduate of Brunswick Academy and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Longwood College in 2000. Originally from Emporia, she moved to South Hill with her family seven years ago. Blackwell and her husband, David, have two young sons, Carter and Reid.
Evans is well-known in the South Hill area and joined CCB in 2008, as well. His former position as general sales manager of Sadler Auto Center, coupled with previous banking/finance experience at Bank of America and Lake Gaston Mortgage, provide an excellent foundation for his new position. As Branch Administrator, Evans will oversee the five full-service branches of CCB and their managers. He graduated from Park View High School in 1984 and is a 1988 graduate of Randolph-Macon College where he earned an undergraduate degree in Business/Economics. Evans is past president of South Hill Volunteer Fire Department and still resides in South Hill with his wife, Penny, and teenage son Jonathon.
Ivey joined CCB in September of 2006 as Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Development. Bringing 19 years of banking experience with her, Kim is able to provide exceptional service to the North Carolina region with home mortgages, construction loans, home equity loans and lines of credit. Her new role as Vice President and Senior Branch Manager will allow her to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Roanoke Rapids and Gaston offices in North Carolina. She is a 1986 graduate of Halifax Community College, having earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Business Administration. Kim has lived in Roanoke Rapids all her life. She and her husband, William, have three children - Daniel, Renee, and Brandon.
"It's always wonderful when we are able to recognize the achievements of our current employees and promote from within. Holly, Sep, and Kim are strong additions to our management team here at CCB," says Tom Manson, President and CEO. "As a community bank, we value their individual experiences and strong ties to the community in which they live and work. Their expertise and affiliations throughout our communities will positively impact our current clients, as well as the Bank's continued growth and success."
