Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter Hosts 13th Annual Hair of the Dog Fundraiser

LAKEWOOD, Ohio, April 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter (CCLAS) is proudly hosting its 13th Annual Hair of the Dog Happy Hour and Silent Auction on Thursday, May 18th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Around the Corner in Lakewood. As always, 100% of the proceeds will benefit animals in need and allows CCLAS to continue its foster and low-cost spay/neuter programs.

Citizens Committee for the Lakewood Animal Shelter (CCLAS) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to assisting the companion animals of Lakewood. As well as providing foster and medical care, CCLAS assists in the adoption of abandoned animals, and supports their well-being throughout their stay at the Lakewood Animal Shelter (LAS). CCLAS interacts with the Lakewood community to promote education and advocacy regarding the LAS and responsible pet ownership. We are a private all-volunteer group and we receive no government funding. We rely on individual donations and the support of our generous community for fundraising events like Hair of the Dog to sustain our mission.
