Citi Enables its 13 Million ThankYou Network Members to Donate to Haiti Relief Effort Using Rewards Points

Citi's ThankYou Network, one of the world's largest loyalty programs, is enabling its 13 million members to donate their ThankYou Network points towards the Haiti relief effort. In addition to this effort, Citi is also waving wire transfer fees from the U.S. to Haiti through January 29, 2010.

What:

ThankYou Network members can use their rewards points to make donations to the "American Red Cross International Response Fund." Donations can be made in denominations of $50 and $100, which will benefit the Haiti relief effort in the aftermath of last week's devastating earthquake. Numerous ThankYou Members have already redeemed points for the American Red Cross charitable donation since the earthquake hit.

ThankYou Network® members can go directly to ThankYou.com and redeem their rewards points for the American Red Cross International Response Fund option under "Charitable Gifts." They can also call the ThankYou Network service center to redeem their rewards points for this option: 1-800-THANKYOU (800-842-6596).
