Wei Jiang named as President and Chief Operating Officer, Kenny Shi as Vice President of Engineering
SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Citcon, a leading cross-border mobile payment company, announced today the appointment of Wei Jiang as President and Chief Operating Officer, and the promotion of Kenny Shi as Vice President of Engineering, effective immediately. Wei will oversee the company's rapidly expanding sales, marketing and business operations, and Kenny will lead the Engineering efforts. Both Wei and Kenny will report directly to Citcon Founder and CEO, Chuck Huang.

Prior to joining Citcon, Wei led the consumer and commercial prepaid product and innovation team at Visa. He also headed up Visa U.S.'s product marketing team for Debit, Prepaid, Commercial and Small Business products, which represents over 80% of Visa's U.S. payment volume. He was Global Product Director at Terex, Senior Business Unit Manager at Belkin, Senior Brand Manager at Whirlpool, and Sales Manager at Procter & Gamble China. Wei holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Since joining Citcon last September, Kenny built a robust, scalable payment infrastructure and led the product strategy, which laid a solid foundation for Citcon's rapid growth. Prior to Citcon, Kenny was Head of Fraud at Uber, and held leadership roles in Risk and Fraud at PayPal and eBay. Kenny graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with Bachelor of Science degree in EECS.
