Cision PR Edition wins SIIA CODiE Awards in Business Technology categories
CHICAGO, May 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Cision, a leading global media intelligence provider, today announced Cision PR Edition is a recipient of two 2016 Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Awards. Continuing a tradition of being recognized for innovative solutions, Cision PR Edition won "Best Business Information Solution" and "Best Content Analytics Solution."
"We are honored to be recognized by SIIA today and remain committed to leading the way for communications professionals with the integrated tools they need to obtain data-driven results for their organizations," said Cision CEO Peter Granat. "These awards are great validation of the work we're doing and motivation to continue to empower brands and get their stories heard by the audiences that matter the most. We're redefining the industry standard by focusing on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of communications tactics."
Cision PR Edition helps communication professionals excel in their daily job functions including strategy, business development, sales, marketing, research or other corporate functions. Feedback from the judges noted the software is an "excellent product with a broad range of options and functionality" that allows users to "get the access and intel they need to be successful. Not only [does Cision] monitor influence and media coverage for a product or brand, [Cision] help[s] you take action based on that info." Last year, Cision's PR Edition won the 2015 CODiE award for Best Media and Information Monitoring Solution.
"SIIA's 2016 Business Technology CODiE Award winners are some of the most innovative products impacting businesses across the world. Recognized by their peers, the CODiE Winners should be proud of this prestigious accolade honoring excellence in business technology products," said Rhianna Collier, VP & Managing Director for the Software & Services Division at SIIA. "We congratulate all of this year's CODiE Award winners, and thank them for the contributions they have made to their industries."
The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries. 61 awards were given for products and services deployed specifically for B2B software, information and media companies.
An SIIA CODiE Award win is a prestigious honor as each award winner was reviewed by a field of industry experts, whose evaluations determined the finalists. SIIA members then reviewed the finalists and their votes were combined with the scores from the industry experts to select this year's CODiE Awards winners.
Since 2009, Cision products have won ten CODiE Awards across eight categories, including Best Marketing/Public Relations Solution, Best Media and Information Monitoring Solution, Best Online Business Information Service, Best Social Media Aggregation Service, Best Online News Service, and Best Content Analytics Solution.
