EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y., June 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CIS (Center for Internet Security) Senior Vice President of Programs Kathleen Patentreger has been elected to the Board of Advisors of the PCI Security Standards Council® (www.pcisecuritystandards.org). The PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) leads a global, cross-industry effort to increase payment security by providing industry-driven and effective data security standards and programs that help businesses detect, mitigate, and prevent cyberattacks and breaches.
Patentreger will join 28 other PCI Board members dedicated to securing payment data globally. These Board members act as strategic partners and are trusted to bring industry, geographical, and technical insight to PCI SSC plans and projects.
