CIS Secure Computing Achieves ISO 9001 Recertification
Reaffirms our commitment and adherence to the highest quality standards
DULLES, Va., Sept. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CIS Secure Computing, Inc., is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed the recertification audit for ISO 9001:2008 and has been recommended for recertification by global standards certification experts American Systems Registrar (ASR).
ISO 9001:2008 certification, which is administered by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), establishes stringent guidelines for maintaining an effective quality management system. Companies holding certification are audited every year and must apply for recertification every three years.
A company seeking recertification must be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of an independent third-party auditor an ability to consistent provide products that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
"This recertification is a testament of our mission to uphold best practices in quality management systems and highlights our culture of integrating continuous improvement in all of our operations," said Bill Strang, President and CEO.
Jim Sisk, Quality Manager adds, "most companies like to say that they are committed to quality, but CIS has proven it by adhering to the strict requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard and achieving recertification with no findings."
