Circle Clubhouse is North Carolina's First LEED-Certified Multifamily Garden Community Facility

CONCORD, N.C., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council for the Circle at Concord Mills clubhouse. The building is the first multifamily garden community facility in North Carolina to earn LEED certification.

The apartment community's clubhouse features low-energy doors and windows, low-emissions carpet and paint, native landscaping, water-efficient plumbing fixtures, energy efficient mechanical systems, ENERGY STAR kitchen appliances and recycled building materials. The building, which is the first LEED-certified structure in Cabarrus County, N.C., also offers preferred parking for hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicles.
