GZIRA, Malta, September 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Global Poker Index (GPI) and CineSport have launched a partnership to distribute poker-centric video content to CineSport's audience of over 7 million viewers across its network of leading news and information sites.
GPI CEO Alex Dreyfus commented, "This strategic partnership finally gives us the opportunity to reach a U.S. sports market that's interested in poker content." An estimated 22.5% of U.S. Sports fans online are interested in poker and Dreyfus sees this partnership as the perfect way to reach this untapped audience. "This is a great first step towards a larger plan to bring poker into the mainstream sports consciousness, and GPI is excited to provide fans with this volume and quality of exclusive coverage with the support of CineSport."
As part of this comprehensive partnership, CineSport will produce and distribute original poker programming and GPI will provide exclusive game highlights, ranking updates, and features to CineSport's blue chip network of sites including, The Boston Globe, Philly.com, The St. Louis Post Dispatch, and the Atlanta Journal Constitution as well to portals, aggregators and social platforms. The result will create a fully integrated content and marketing platform that will bring poker content to U.S. sports fans in an entirely new way.
