Cinergy Entertainment announces special Cars 3 screening and adaptive bike presentation with Variety - the Children's Charity of Texas in Odessa, TX

ODESSA, Texas, June 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cinergy Entertainment announces Cars 3 as this week's sensory friendly series title in Odessa, TX. Movies are meant to be enjoyed by everyone, and that is exactly why Cinergy has introduced Sensory Friendly Screenings. One Saturday each month at 9:30 am, Cinergy locations will present a family friendly film in an auditorium dedicated to guests affected by autism and sensory processing disorders. Upcoming titles and dates include Cars 3 - June 24, Despicable Me 3 - July 15, and The Nut Job 2 - August 19.  These showings will feature brightened light levels, reduced sound volume, and room for guest interaction and movement.

Following the June 24th screening in Odessa, Cinergy Entertainment and Variety - the Children's Charity of Texas will host an adaptive bike presentation for both the Midland and Ector County ISD special education departments. An adaptive tricycle is a bike that is customized for children with mobility challenges and are unable to ride a traditional bicycle. The bikes provide physical therapy and much needed exercise, helping to build strength in not only their body but their confidence as well. Funds for the bike came from fundraising efforts by Cinergy employees through Variety's Gold Heart Pin Campaign featuring Smurfs:  The Lost Village.
