Cindy Yates Joins Schoolwires® as Vice President of Sales
STATE COLLEGE, Pa., May 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Cindy Yates has joined Schoolwires as Vice President of Sales, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the education and educational technology sectors as well as strong leadership skills and business acumen.
In her new role, Ms. Yates is responsible for leading the Schoolwires sales teams to meet revenue goals and grow market share, and for helping to guide the direction and vision of Schoolwires in conjunction with the product and marketing teams.
Previously, Ms. Yates held executive positions at Thomson Learning (now Cengage), Pearson, eInstruction and most recently, Kaltura, where she led the global EDU sales team and partner and reseller engagement worldwide.
In addition to sales leadership responsibilities, Ms. Yates brings deep experience in developing customer-oriented product solutions with creative product marketing and in furthering board and investor relations. She also has firsthand experience of how emerging technologies can translate into definable results for education entities, educators, and students.
Ms. Yates holds a B.S degree in Business with a minor in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Executive Leadership credentials from Georgetown University.
