CIMCON Lighting Appoints John Joseph as Vice President of Marketing

BEDFORD, Mass., Oct. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- CIMCON Lighting, the leading global provider of intelligent lighting and smart city technologies, announced today that it has expanded its leadership team by appointing John Joseph to lead its marketing efforts. The appointment is fueled by the rapidly growing demand from municipalities, utilities, higher education institutions, and commercial/industrial companies for the company's intelligent lighting controls and smart city platform.

A 20-year veteran of the software industry, Joseph brings to the CIMCON Lighting executive team his experience helping companies enter new markets, rapidly scale marketing efforts, and disrupt established industries. At CIMCON Lighting, he will manage the strategy and execution of CIMCON Lighting's marketing plan to continue the company's rapid growth and shape the evolution of the smart city market.

Prior to joining Scribe, Joseph held senior marketing and product management roles at companies such as Lavastorm Analytics and Endeca Technologies, where he helped drive growth for breakthrough products in technology areas such as data analytics/business intelligence platforms, integrated healthcare networks, and speech recognition software.
