CimatronE New Version on Show at INTEC
CimatronE 10.0 includes improvements that increase manufacturing productivity across the board from quoting to delivery
GIVAT SHMUEL, Israel, March 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cimatron Limited (Nasdaq: CIMT), a leading provider of integrated CAD/CAM solutions for mold, tool and die makers as well as manufacturers of discrete parts, announced that it will showcase the new version of CimatronE at the INTEC Trade Fair (hall 1 stand G01) March 1-4 2011 in Leipzig, Germany.
Version 10.0 of CimatronE contains over 150 major enhancements and new functionality for mold makers, die makers and manufacturers in the areas of Quoting, Tool Design, Drafting, Electrode Creation and NC Programming. The latest enhancements provide extensive competitive benefits for toolmakers, in a single integrated solution.
CAD enhancements provide stronger, more powerful capabilities, including a new built-in Motion Simulator, which specializes in tooling and provides an advanced, event based analysis of kinematics. Die makers will enjoy an easier, more intuitive strip design process and greater automation for tool design. Mold designers will find that handling changes is simpler, with more powerful ECO analysis and implementation.
CAM enhancements dramatically increase programming productivity, with background calculations and enhanced multi-core processing. Machining times are reduced, with significant upgrades to rough and cleanup strategies, and there's a new helical finish strategy.
Cimatron GmbH will partner with DCAM GmbH at the show. DCAM's flagship product is DCAMCUT, an optimum Wire EDM CAD/CAM solution for the mold and die industry that can operate as part of the CimatronE manufacturing process. DCAMCUT creates safe and securely directed wire EDM programs on solid and surface models. The product will be previewed in the Cimatron booth.
Cimatron GmbH will also showcase the latest version of GibbsCAM (marketed as virtual Gibbs in Germany). GibbsCAM, the CAM industry's recognized ease-of-use leader, offers simple to use, yet extremely powerful, solutions for programming CNC machine tools. The GibbsCAM product family supports the full range of metal cutting machine tools, from basic milling and turning centers to rotary tables, to 3- and 5-axis simultaneous milling machines, complex multi-task machining machine tools to Wire-EDM devices.
"We're excited to show the new enhancements to CimatronE 10.0," said Dirk Dombert, General Manager of Cimatron GmbH. "All of our customers will benefit from these enhancements. Mold designers and die designers will appreciate the new motion simulation, as well as a host of new CAD capabilities and increased automation. NC programmers will be pleased with background calculation, as well as other new enhancements and significant improvements to existing features."
