CI Capital Partners Forms Partnership with Logistics Executive Mark Yeager

NEW YORK, Aug. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CI Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, announced today that it has formed a partnership with Mark Yeager, the former President and Chief Operating Officer of Hub Group, to pursue a platform company investment in the transportation and logistics sector.

Mr. Yeager brings to this partnership significant operational experience in the logistics industry. Most recently, Mr. Yeager served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Hub Group, a leading transportation management company offering intermodal, brokerage and logistics services. In total, Mr. Yeager spent 23 years at Hub Group, serving in various roles including General Counsel, Division President, and President of Field Operations, prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer in 2004 and President in 2005.

CI Capital and Mr. Yeager will pursue investment opportunities in the fragmented transportation and logistics sector targeting companies with differentiated capabilities and industry-leading management teams that can act as effective consolidators. CI Capital has previously invested in Transplace, a leading third party logistics provider, and numerous companies in the distribution sector.
