Chyron to Provide HYPERX3 Graphic Systems for NBC's Coverage of the Vancouver Winter Games
HYPERX3 to enable NBC with full on-air graphics capability during its coverage of the Vancouver Winter Games, February 12-28, 2010
MELVILLE, N.Y., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Chyron (Nasdaq: CHYR) has been selected to provide a full complement of HYPERX3's to NBC for the network's coverage of the Vancouver Winter Games, February 12-28. The announcement was made today by Philip Paully, Director of Graphics Engineering and Operations, NBC Olympics and Michael Wellesley-Wesley, CEO, Chyron.
The HYPERX3 systems will be utilized for on-air NBC-generated graphics being broadcast from the International Broadcast Center (IBC), as well as remote venues. Having collaborated on the Beijing Olympic Games, Chyron will once again aid NBC in Vancouver with its spectacular Olympic Winter Games coverage.
