PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Keith Marks has been appointed Executive Vice President and Manager, Risk Engineering Services, Commercial Insurance, for Chubb North America based in Chicago. In his new role, Mr. Marks will oversee the design and delivery of risk engineering service programs for commercial customers in North America and provide leadership for the risk engineering Executive Specialists for workers compensation, casualty, commercial auto, property, and environmental insurance as well as the Market Segment team. Over the past 12 months, Chubb's global risk engineering professionals further strengthened the group's reputation as a champion for risk mitigation by making about 21,000 site visits and spending some 250,000 hours to help clients control risks and the costs associated with a potential loss.

Mr. Marks most recently served as Senior Vice President, North America Field Operations for Chubb Risk Engineering Services. Prior to ACE's acquisition of Chubb in January 2016, he was Vice President, Western Territory Loss Control Manager for Chubb. Mr. Marks joined legacy Chubb in 1997 after working as a safety engineer for a major environmental services consulting firm. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health from Illinois State University and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management from Northern Illinois University.
Mr. Marks will report to Mr. O'Neill. He will also have a reporting relationship to Christopher A. Maleno, Division President, North America Major Accounts, and to Steven R. Pozzi, Division President, Commercial Insurance, Chubb North America.
Navakas Promoted to Executive Vice President
Raimund Navakas has been named Executive Vice President and will continue to lead the Risk Engineering Practice for Chubb's Overseas General Insurance division based in New York. Mr. Navakas is responsible for leading the global property risk engineering team and supporting the international property and casualty business with oversight for risk engineering program business, technical research, risk engineering product development, and Chubb's Loss Control University fire lab.
Prior to ACE's acquisition of Chubb in January 2016, Mr. Navakas relocated from Australia to the United States to serve as Senior Vice President, Global Property Engineering. Mr. Navakas joined legacy ACE in 2009 in the Sydney office as Asia Pacific Regional Risk Engineering Manager. Prior to joining legacy ACE, he worked as the director of casualty risk engineering for a global insurance company and served as an engineering officer in the Royal Australian Navy. Mr. Navakas holds Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Commerce degrees from the University of New South Wales in Sydney.
Mr. Navakas will continue to report to David Furby, Division President, Commercial Property and Casualty for the Overseas General Insurance division, and Joseph S. Clabby, Division President, Bermuda and Global Accounts.
